UPLB MASS Online started out as nothing but an experiment of Gino Carteciano. It was an attempt to kill time and be popular. With a few shameless advertisements on Prof. Mendoza's MASS Website, on other websites, on org teasers, message boards, and chairs, the site attracted several visitors, both members and non-members.

Several alumni members became connected again. Some of them even contributed content for the site. A few congratulations, suggestions, and violent reactions later, the site became a hub for all UPLB MASS members, past and present, from all around the world.

The site aims to give alumni members as clear a view as possible of what's happening inside UPLB MASS today. It also encourages the alumni to share their past experiences with the current stable of MASS characters. It aims to break down the walls between UPLB MASS and other organizations. It presents UPLB MASS as it is, a group of young people having fun while fostering academic excellence to cultivate deeper appreciation and wider application of Mathematical Sciences. It has also attracted some new members to join the society. Every negative notion about UPLB MASS will hopefully be challenged by this site.

In the coming months, and hopefully, years, this site will continue to bridge a connection between UPLB MASS members past, present, and future. UPLB MASS has always been know to reach for excellence in academics, camaraderie, public relations, and being good advocates of appreciating mathematical sciences while having the time of their lives. This site is a reflection of the society's personality and visions... a reflection seen not only locally, but worldwide.
