UPLB MASS will sponsor the upcoming 21^st Mathematical Sciences Week

The upcoming 21^st Mathematical Sciences Week (MathSci Week) will be very different from last year, without losing its immensity. This enchanting week will again hold the much awaited 22^nd Annual Southern Tagalog Invitational Mathematical Challenge (MatheMatch) and the Annual Search for UPLB Math Wizard.

What to look forward to?

In the upcoming 22^nd Annual MatheMatch, we will not only invite contestants from all over CALABARZON to join but also from MIMAROPA as well. Alongside with this, teachers from these schools can attend the teacher seminar.

Another event to look forward is the Annual Search for UPLB Math Wizard. This is where bright minds, in the field of Mathematics, compete for the title through their intellectual abilities, with this; our goal is to cultivate deeper appreciation and wider application of Mathematical Sciences. All UPLB undergraduate students are encouraged to join, no registration fees are needed.

In the duration of the MathSci Week, an exhibit will be seen in the lobby of the Math Building. This is to show the importance of Mathematical Sciences in other fields. Together with this, puzzle for the day and puzzle of the week will again be posted. This is an open competition where people, browsing through the exhibit, try to be the first to answer the question.
